Class Description

Is there a secret technique in comedy that almost always makes audiences laugh? Yes, there is! In this workshop, we will have a blast as we learn that technique. Not only that — we’ll also explore how to create unique characters, how to ride the laughs, and how to make comedy your own.

Jonah McDonald is a professional actor in the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) for TV, film, and commercials. Some of his favorite credits include Tim Robinson’s hit comedy “The Chair Company” (HBO Max), the emmy-nominated series “Blue Bloods” (CBS), and the upcoming comedy “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins,” alongside Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe (NBC). Some favorite theater roles include Nigel in SOMETHING ROTTEN (Keystone Theatrics), and Laurie in LITTLE WOMEN (Servant Stage). Jonah is an acting coach and Behavioral Health Technician, as well as the founder of two annual charity events for homeless shelters. He now attends Elizabethtown College, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Communications. Most importantly, he loves Jesus, chocolate, and his three dogs, Samson, Lyla, and Chester!
