Students will learn what all goes into designing costumes for a stage production. They will learn methods, techniques, communication, and some history as well as discuss the differences between stage costumes and everyday attire. Great for students looking to broaden their knowledge of what goes into a production.

Meet Sarah
Originally from the Washington, DC metro area, Sarah Watson now lives in York, PA. She earned her BA in Visual Arts from UMBC. She was a member of the Army National Guard and worked for the Department of Defense before pursuing her MFA in Costume Design at UC Davis. Sarah has worked on costumes for theater and film. Sarah is passionate about theater for youth and spent the previous seven years teaching technical theater at a private high school near Baltimore. Sarah lives with her husband, three kids, three dogs, two cats, fabulous mother-in-law, and a partridge in a pear tree.
