Students will learn tools, techniques, and insider tips on cold readings and callbacks, including what they should/shouldn't expect. Learn what a director will be looking for and expecting you when you’re asked to come back into the audition room. Great for those who get nervous or don’t know what to do when called back and those who want to learn how to stand out among the rest.

Ray Hilton

A native Texan, Ray Hilton loves living and working as an actor and educator in Lancaster County. When not busy parenting four kids between the ages of 2 and 14 alongside his wife, Ray works as a performer at Sight & Sound Theatres, where he also teaches performance in Shakespeare at the Conservatory. Some of his favorite roles include Edward Bloom (Big Fish), Officer Barrel (Urinetown), Ira Stone (Laughter on the 23rd Floor), Captain Pierce (The Civil War: Musical), and Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing).  He looks forward to sharing his ideas and approach in performing with aspiring youth through these upcoming classes.
