Class Description

In this improv-focused acting class, students will learn simple and fun tactics and techniques to help them to stay on their toes during performances and always be thinking. A great class for the thinking actor, you get tips on ways to keep your brain active in order to help you in any given circumstance on stage.

meet chris

Chris Faith is thrilled and honored to be collaborating with Servant Stage! He is a former Equity actor who has performed Off-Broadway (THE SECRET GARDEN). Other credits include leading and supporting roles for The Wilma Theatre, Arden Theatre Company and the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival in Philadelphia. Favorite roles include Huck Finn in BIG RIVER (Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre), the Fool in KING LEAR (PSF), and Gaza in SAMSON (Sight & Sound Theatres). Most memorable stage moments include performing opposite Linda Eder in THE SEDUCTION OF SHEILA VALENTINE and performing for Sheldon Harnick (FIDDLER ON THE ROOF), Galt MacDermot (HAIR), and Martin Charnin (ANNIE) at a musical theater symposium. Chris holds an MFA in Acting from Brandeis University and currently serves as the Casting Director for Sight & Sound Theatres, as well as an instructor for Improv and Voice & Speech for the Sight & Sound Conservatory. He is a former Professor of Acting for the Boston Conservatory and former Adjunct Professor of Musical Theatre for Temple University.
