Class Description

As actors, we often find ourselves in the middle of detective work - we have to seek out all of the important facts about our characters and then use that information to understand and inform our motivation. In this class we'll dive into learning all about given circumstances and acting objectives and how best to utilize these tools to create the best, most realistic and well-rounded characters we can.

meet Carson

Carson Burkett is a Virginia native who relocated to Lancaster last year. He has performed in numerous shows throughout the last decade including PARADE, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, and MARY POPPINS; as well as QUEEN ESTHER and JESUS with Sight & Sound Theatres. He has also had the privilege to direct many additional shows including JOSEPH… TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, BLITHE SPIRIT, and Disney’s TARZAN. Carson is very grateful for Servant Stage for their dedication to accessibility and excellence in the performing arts.
