She earned her B.A. in Music Performance from Millersville University with a concentration in voice. She has been taking voice lessons for 20 years and taught for a short period of time before fully devoting her time to performing. She has established herself in multiple theatres across the region including Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, Gretna Theatre, Prima Theatre, Ephrata Performing Arts Center, and of course, Servant Stage Company! Some of her favorite credits include: Holiday Inn (Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre), Mary Martin of Tours in Sister Act (DADT), Anna Maria in Godspell (Prima Theatre), Gloria in No Easy Road to Freedom (Gretna Theatre), Belle Understudy/Ensemble in Beauty and the Beast (EPAC), Missy in The Marvelous Wonderettes (Servant Stage Company). Kayla is also the Visual Coordinator and a Section Leader for Parkside Melody, a barbershop chorus, where she develops visual plans and leads the storytelling for each of their songs. She is excited for this opportunity to share some insight and experiences with you!
