Sophia Amaya

Sophia Amaya (Ensemble, Mermaid U/S) is elated to join the cast of BIG FISH! She joined the Servant Stage family last year as a member of the Apprentice Company, ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK (Teen Ensemble), and RAGTIME (Ensemble). This summer, she portrayed the roles of Liesl U/S and a nun in THE SOUND OF MUSIC at Servant Stage and is a member of the Teen Company. Originally from Miami, FL, Sophia has performed regionally as Lucy in THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE at Actor’s Playhouse, as well as Thea in PIPPIN at the University of Miami’s Ring Theater. As a competitive dancer, Sophia has won numerous National Competitions and is currently studying with Pennsylvania Regional Ballet and with One Broadway Dance Academy. She is thrilled to work with the amazingly talented Josh Green again and perform alongside so many gifted friends! Above all else, Sophia desires to honor God with her creativity.
