Johnny Russell
Johnny Russell (Man in the Yellow Suit) is excited to be back with Servant Stage, and even more excited to be sharing the stage with his daughter for the very first time! As an actor, director, and educator, Johnny has spent over two decades working across the country and internationally. He earned his M.F.A. from Penn State University and has held several faculty positions at Penn State, Malone University, and Lancaster Bible College. After completing his residency at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, Johnny co-founded the award-winning SiNNERMAN Ensemble and went on to serve as founding Artistic Director and Head Teaching Artist with Parallax Ensemble. A native of Northeast Ohio, he also served as a teaching artist with Cleveland Playhouse Square. As a performance coach, Johnny has partnered with clients ranging from Tony Award winners to elite athletes, NCAA and PGA coaches of the year, and top business professionals. As always, Darci, Amara, and Silas, I love you forever!
