Johnathan Bauer
Johnathan lives in Strasburg with his wife, Rebecca, and children, Gabriel, Jubilee, and Emmanuel. Originally from Maine, he came to Lancaster in 2008 to work as a performer with Sight & Sound Theatres. He fell in love with Lancaster County and has stayed in the area ever since, working as a performer or director with most of the local theatre companies. Johnathan and Rebecca started Servant Stage in 2011, and have been involved in every Servant Stage production since. Johnathan has a degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Southern Maine. Tyler Hoover
A Lancaster native, Tyler has been blessed to serve as a performer, director, writer, and composer/arranger with a number of local theatre companies including Servant Stage, Piercing Word, Sight & Sound Theatres, and PRiMA. His in-development musical Prodigal was given its first staged reading at Servant Stage in 2021. Tyler holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Music Theory & Composition from West Chester University and resides in Lititz with his wife, Sandra, and their five children.
Amberly Barker
Amberly Barker is pleased to be a part of making theatre education accessible to the Lancaster area with Servant Stage. Originally from Berks County, she spent four years in sunny West Palm Beach, Florida earning a B.A. in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in musical theatre performance from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Upon graduation, she spent nearly a decade on the stage management team at Sight & Sound, a team she is still grateful to be a part of as a swing. She lives in Lititz with her husband, Mike, and their daughters, Marley and Delaney. In addition to theater, Amberly likes reading, asking questions, and being outdoors.
Carson Burkett
Carson is a Virginia native who relocated to Lancaster in 2024. He earned a BA in Theatre from Liberty University and has spent the past decade performing in a wide range of productions, including several seasons with Sight & Sound Theatres. While performing has been a significant part of his career, Carson’s greatest fulfillment has come from teaching, directing, and mentoring the next generation of young artists. He and his wife, Anika, have loved becoming part of the Lancaster community and can often be found enjoying a weekend afternoon at one of the area’s many coffee shops or restaurants. Carson is deeply grateful to be working with Servant Stage and to join in their mission of championing both accessibility and excellence in the performing arts.
Jenny Norgaard
Jenny Norgaard, resident of beautiful Mount Joy, is originally from Houston, TX. Jenny and her family have been in PA for 20 years and have loved every minute! Jenny and her wonderful husband, Adam, met as college students more than 20 years ago at Texas A&M University and moved to PA shortly after getting married due to Adam's employment. Jenny was a high school guidance counselor and special education teacher for many years, most recently in Lebanon, PA, and now is a proud mom of two adults, Sydney and Brady. Jenny loves traveling, especially to Disney World and anywhere in the mountains! She is also a huge country music fan and can often be heard singing along with Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks in her car while traveling around Lancaster! Jenny and the Norgaards absolutely love being a part of the ever-growing Servant Stage family and are so excited for the coming season of amazing shows, wonderful fellowship, and exciting opportunities to share the mission of Servant Stage Company!
Chad Young
Chad is a Lancaster County native and is grateful to be contributing to the development of the growing artistic efforts in the area with the incredible team at Servant Stage. He has invested over twenty years as a choral director, music theater director, worship arts director, accompanist, and vocal coach. Chad is passionate about helping people discover and develop their potential. He lives at the southern end of the county with the fourth generation on the family farm.
Andrew Zahn
As an actor, Andrew first spent time onstage with Servant Stage in 2016 and he's loved being part of the Servant Stage community ever since. Currently working in development and community relations, he's seen Servant Stage grow exponentially over the last decade to fulfill the mission of making the arts accessible to all. Andrew enjoys performing at many local theaters while working at Servant Stage and loves living in such a culturally rich area! He and his wife have one daughter and you may have seen all three of them onstage together as several Servant Stage productions over the years. Prior to working at Servant Stage, he's been a business owner, public relations manager, cruise director, and corporate sales trainer.
Jim Bauer
Jim was the director of a non-profit childcare center and support organization for 25 years until his semi-retirement 15 years ago. No longer full-time residents of Maine, Jim and his wife Mary now spend half the year in Florida. They have two grown children, Johnathan, who lives in Strasburg with his wife Rebecca and family, and Rebecca, who lives in Florida with her husband, Eli, and family. Theater has been an important part of Jim's life ever since he caught his son’s passion. He is blessed to be a part of Servant Stage with all those who love its mission. Matthew 18:3
Hayley England-Yawney
Originally from North East, MD, Hayley grew up in a very musical family and began studying theatre in early high school. She then went on to graduate from the Sight & Sound Conservatory in 2019, where she met her husband, Brian. Shortly after moving to Lancaster, she fell in love with the local theatre community and began performing with Servant Stage in 2022, which led to her joining the staff in summer of 2024. Since then, Hayley has found equal enjoyment in on-stage and off-stage roles with Servant Stage including stage managing, show captaining, and assistant directing. When not in rehearsals or touring a show, you’ll often find her experimenting in the kitchen, relaxing in her at-home yoga studio, and taking day trips to local cities with her husband, parents, and friends.
Lauren Schaeffer
Lauren Schaeffer was born and raised in Lancaster and graduated from Liberty University with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has been part of the Servant Stage team since 2019, serving in a variety of roles and currently working within the education department. One of her greatest joys over the past few years has been directing youth productions and helping young performers grow in their skills and confidence. Lauren has been personally impacted by Servant Stage—most notably as this being the place where she met her husband! Together, they have two daughters, with another baby girl on the way. In her free time, Lauren enjoys thrift shopping, spending time on her parents’ farm, and sitting at the piano belting out show tunes.
Jill Blank
A Lancaster County native, Jill spent most of her youth playing softball, but theater has always had a special place in her heart, and she has many fond memories of attending various productions with her family. After graduating from Gardner-Webb University with a bachelor’s in Communication Studies, Jill spent several years working in ticketing for various venues in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Upon returning to Lancaster in 2022, she heard about Servant Stage and was immediately drawn to their mission and began volunteering with the front-of-house team. Now, as a part of Servant Stage's staff, she is blessed to work alongside many talented individuals and lead the incredible front-of-house volunteers. When she's not at a show, Jill enjoys spending time with family, especially her niece and nephew, playing board games with friends, or reading a good book. John 16:33.
Gretchen Webb
Gretchen is a Lancaster, PA native with a degree in graphic design and a lifelong passion for the performing arts. She spent many years performing professionally, primarily in Branson, Missouri, while also working as a freelance graphic designer.
Now back in Lancaster with her husband and two children, Gretchen is proud to be part of the Servant Stage Company team and also works at Magic & Wonder Dinner Theater, where she performs in Jukebox Generation. She loves using her creative talents both onstage and behind the scenes to serve the arts and her community.
Megan Huyard
Megan Huyard is the Digital Marketing Strategist at Servant Stage Company and a lifelong theatre lover who is thrilled to be back in the world of storytelling—this time behind the scenes. She studied Theatre Arts and Strategic Communication at Liberty University and, after time away from theatre, returned to the stage in Swing! with Servant Stage. She loved it so much she wasn’t ready to leave—eventually joining the team in a marketing role in 2025. Prior to Servant Stage, Megan spent several years as an operations and marketing manager for a local real estate company while also running her own digital marketing business. Megan lives in downtown Lancaster with her husband, Jeff, and enjoys coffee walks, caring for her many plant babies, gathering with friends, and serving at Calvary Church.
