Johnathan Bauer

Johnathan Bauer

Johnathan Bauer (Director) started Servant Stage with his wife Rebecca in 2011 and has been a part of every production since then! Favorite memories include directing and co-creating Servant Stage’s adaptation of A Christmas Carol and performing as Harold Hill in The Music Man with Servant Stage. Johnathan graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a degree in vocal performance and moved to Pennsylvania in 2014 to work with Sight & Sound Theatres. Since then he has performed and directed with many of the theatres in the Lancaster area. Johnathan and Rebecca live in Strasburg with their children, Gabriel, Jubilee, and Emmanuel. Johnathan is so grateful to this incredible cast and production team and thrilled to share this production with you. “I go to the hills when my heart is lonely, I know I will hear what I’ve heard before… my heart will be blessed with the sound of music, and I’ll sing once more.”

Kylie Jo Smith

Kylie Jo Smith

Kylie Jo Smith (Assistant Director) a Wichita, Kansas native, Kylie Jo is grateful to be part of the SS family after such an amazing experience during Ragtime (Sarah)! Kylie Jo began building her performance career more than 20 years ago, and is thankful for a catalog of work spanning opera, classical theatre, musical theatre, recording in Nashville, touring in the Midwest, and on-screen/commercial work. She is the co-host of the NixMyth Podcast with her husband, Nick (NixMythPodcast.com), a podcast dedicated to dispelling myths and misunderstandings surrounding life, faith, race, and culture. In this season, Kylie Jo does the majority of her performing with Sight & Sound Theatres, while also writing and recording her own original music. Joe Sharick

Joe Sharick

Joe Sharick (Music Director), originally from Western Pennsylvania, currently lives with his wife, Lauren (a local professional oboist), and two daughters in Holtwood. He received his BMUS in Piano Performance from Lancaster Bible College, and completed his MMUS in Piano Pedagogy from West Chester University in May of 2019. A professional accompanist and performer since 2012, he has worked collaboratively with a variety of vocal, instrumental, and theatrical organizations in Lancaster and the West Chester area, including Prima Theater, Servant Stage, Dutch Apple, and Opera Lancaster. Joe loves performing everything from classical solo repertoire to modern musical theater, as well as composing and contributing as a studio keyboardist with Orojin Music Group. His favorite music to enjoy is film scores (especially when Hans Zimmer is involved), anime scores, and video game soundtracks. Basically, he's a big nerd.

Rebecca Gentry

Rebecca Gentry

Rebecca Gentry (Choreographer) is a professionally trained ballet and ballroom dancer, though she dabbles in a variety of dance styles, from Bachata to Bollywood, Tap to Tango. She is the owner of City Ballroom Ballroom Dance Studio and the director of The Dance Collective, Lancaster's only youth ballroom and latin competitive dance team. She has performed locally with the Grant Street Dance Company, UpFront Theatre Company, and PRiMA Theatre, has choreographed for both PRiMA (Chess, Children of Eden) and UpFront (The Rocky Horror Show, The Wild Party, Jesus Christ Superstar), as well as Encore! Home School Productions, the Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts, the People’s Shakespeare Project, and the Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center. She is resident choreographer in the Manheim Central High School theatre department. A huge thank you to Johnathan for the opportunity to work with this team, cast, and crew!

Melissa Edwards

Melissa Edwards

Melissa Edwards (Stage Manager) is very happy to be working with Servant Stage again this season. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Theatre from the University of Central Arkansas, Melissa worked behind the scenes in theatres in Kentucky, Nebraska, Virginia, New Jersey, and Connecticut before landing in Pennsylvania. She was the Associate Lighting Designer at Sight & Sound Theatres for 10 years, where she met her husband and biggest supporter, Curt. Since then Melissa has kept her hands in the theatre, working with Franklin & Marshall College, Reverie, Sight & Sound Conservatory and Servant Stage focusing on both lighting design and stage management. She has a passion for supporting shows from behind the scenes and mentoring students on the technical side of theatre so that they might discover a new passion as well.

Erin Crimmel

Erin Crimmel

Erin Crimmel (Assistant Stage Manager) is very excited to be a part of her very first Mainstage Production here at Servant Stage. Erin is currently a junior Entertainment Technology major at Millersville University. A few of her most recent productions include The Addams Family musical in 2021 where she was the Assistant Director and Choreographer, and Carrie: The Musical in 2022 where she was the Stage Manager. Most recently, Erin performed in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime as Judy Boone with the Millersville University Theatre Department. She wants to thank all of her friends and family for supporting her and allowing her to pursue this amazing opportunity.

Glen Brodersen

Glen Brodersen

Glen Brodersen (Technical Director, Set Construction) has been serving the theatre community for almost 30 years. He has had the privilege of using his diverse production talents at numerous churches and theatres across the US and in Europe. Currently, he serves as the Senior Technical Director at Sight & Sound Theatres where over the past 18 years he has had the opportunity to support the company in several different production related roles. Glen has enjoyed designing and building sets for Servant Stage for over 10 years. His most recent design/build was Ragtime, one of Servant Stages largest productions. He is now looking forward to working on The Sound of Music with the Servant Stage team.

Sarah Watson

Sarah Watson

Sarah Watson (Costume Coordinator), originally from the Washington, DC metro area, now lives in York, PA. She earned her BA in Visual Arts from UMBC. She was a member of the Army National Guard and worked for the Department of Defense before pursuing her MFA in Costume Design at UC Davis. Sarah has worked on costumes for theater and film. Sarah is passionate about theater for youth and spent seven years teaching technical theater at a private high school near Baltimore before leaving to be at home with her kids. Sarah now works from home for an awesome company, as well as for herself as a freelance costumer, and sewist. She is thrilled to be back working with Servant Stage again. Sarah lives with her husband, three kids, a dog, a cat, a fabulous mother-in-law, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Dore’Ann Weaver

Dore’Ann Weaver

Dore’Ann Weaver (Props) has had the privilege of being involved with staging and theatre work for the last 30+ years. From designing shows, to being onstage performing, and everything in between. She is very excited to be joining the Servant Stage family once again! Dore’Ann owns her own business, French Twist Events, that focuses on helping other theaters and private productions, and now works in Film in Art Direction and design, decor, set painting and props. A few organizations she is proud to have partnered with are Sight and Sound, Ms. Lancaster Co. Scholarship organizations, LBC, DBM Film productions, Mt. Gretna Theatre, and Third Space Theatre. She is ever so thankful to once again be returning to Servant Stage Theatre! She could not function without her wonderful sidekick, her husband, Craig Weaver. She would like to thank him, her family, and God for the wonderful provision of endless hours of creativity that continue to provide Life, Love, and creative opportunities.

Geoffery Morgan

Geoffery Morgan

Geoffery Morgan (Wigs and Hair Coordinator) is so excited to be a part of the creative team for this production. Geoff has had many opportunities to work in just about every element of theater and appreciates and values each aspect of the art and its importance within a production. Originally a native of Richmond, Virginia, Geoff has now lived and worked in Lancaster County for 5 years with companies like Servant Stage, Sight and Sound, Piercing Word, Prima, Magic and Wonder and Lancaster Bible College. Catch Geoff touring Lancaster County this Summer in I’ll Fly Away with Servant Stage Company. Enjoy the show!

Anne Nye

Anne Nye

Anne Nye (Orchestra Coordinator) currently holds horn positions with Allegro Orchestra of Lancaster, the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra and The Pennsylvania Philharmonic. She also regularly performs with several other regional orchestras, including the Allentown, Delaware, Lancaster, Reading, and Kennett Symphonies. She has a passion for chamber music and co founded, Manor Winds and Trilogy Brass and plays with the Lancaster Brass Quintet. She is the professor of Horn at Franklin and Marshall as well as Lancaster Bible College where she also serves as orchestra liason. She enjoys networking and bringing people together, both musically and socially, and often contracts the musicians for local choral, theater and church groups. She holds a degree in French horn Performance from the Wheaton Conservatory in Illinois. Although music keeps her quite busy, she also has an antique business at Tollbooth Antiques in Columbia, PA and enjoys sewing, knitting and re-purposing objects in the historic farmhouse where she resides with her husband Rob.

Shaun Ressler

Shaun Ressler

Shaun Ressler (Audio Designer) is no stranger to Servant Stage Company, having designed sound for many of Servant Stage’s past productions and acted in several as well. He has a passion for theater, sound design, and singing, and has worked with several local theaters like Ephrata Performing Arts Center, Popovsky Performing Arts Center, and Prima Theatre, to name a few. Shaun graduated from Millersville University with a BA in Music (Voice) and a BS in Computer Science, and works as a Software Engineer for Cargas Systems. All my love to Kayla and Nolan, and many thanks to the Servant Stage team for all their support and encouragement!

Tim Moser

Tim Moser

Tim Moser (Lighting Designer) has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre from Indiana University of PA. He is currently the Production Designer of stage sets and lighting design for all 21 campuses of Lives Changed By Christ Church (LCBC) where he has been on staff for 19 years. Before that, Tim was a lighting and stage technician and Master Electrician at Sight & Sound Theatres for 10 years. Tim also serves the community by designing and programming lighting for a variety of churches, schools, businesses, and theatres. Previously for Servant Stage, he was the lighting designer for Titanic: The Musical, Music Man and Ragtime. Tim lives in Manheim with his stage manager wife Katie and their 3 sons.
