Angelina Amaya

Angelina Amaya

Angelina Amaya (Gretl von Trapp) is super excited to have her theatrical stage debut with Servant Stage and the cast of The Sound of Music! Having danced ballet and sung in voice recitals since the age of 3, Angelina is no stranger to the performing arts. She has also recently used her acting talents as a featured character in local business commercials. Angelina is currently studying ballet at Pennsylvania Regional Ballet and tap, jazz, and hip-hop at One Broadway Dance Academy. She shares the stage with her loving mother, Colleen (Elsa), and ridiculously-talented sister and best friend, Sophia (Ensemble, Liesl u/s). Angelina would like to thank her dad for his undying love and support, and God for the incredible opportunities He has provided.

Sophia Amaya

Sophia Amaya

Sophia Amaya (Nuns Ensemble, Liesl von Trapp u/s) is thrilled to join the cast of The Sound of Music! She joined the Servant Stage family last year as a member of the Apprentice Company, the teen ensemble in Rock Around the Clock, and the ensemble in Ragtime. This summer she is excited to join the Teen Company! Originally from Miami, FL, Sophia has performed regionally as Lucy in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at Actor’s Playhouse, as well as Thea in Pippin at the University of Miami’s Ring Theater. As a competitive dancer, Sophia has won numerous National Competitions. She is currently studying with Pennsylvania Regional Ballet and with One Broadway Dance Academy. She is delighted for the rare opportunity to perform with her mother, Colleen, and sister/partner-in-crime, Angelina, in this show! Above all else, Sophia desires to honor God with all her creativity.

Cella Berardi

Cella Berardi

Cella Berardi (Marta von Trapp) is overjoyed to be part of Servant Stage’s production of The Sound of Music. Cella, a fourth grader at Solvit Academy, began pursuing her passion for singing, dancing, and acting two years ago. She began her professional career by being part of Miracle on 34th Street (Susan Walker) and The Little Mermaid (Leeward) at The Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. Recently she performed in Home for the Holidays at The American Music Theatre. She continues to enjoy honing her skills through voice lessons with Mrs. Jo Abrom and participation in local theater camps. Cella is thankful for the ongoing support she receives from her family, her friends, those who have influenced her during her theater experiences, and is grateful for the gifts that God has given her. Cella hopes your “heart will be blessed with the sound of music” as you enjoy the show.

Joelyn Blessing

Joelyn Blessing

Joelyn Blessing (Brigitta von Trapp), playing the role of Brigitta, is in 5th grade in Lancaster Mennonite School's (LMS) Spanish Immersion program. Her favorite subjects are art, makerspace, and math. Joelyn's initial musical theater experience was through child roles in LMS's high school musical productions of Annie (orphan Molly) and Beauty and the Beast (ensemble). Joelyn sings in the community Mennonite Children's Choir of Lancaster program, has played violin for six years, and is actively involved with music at her church. Joelyn also enjoys playing soccer, interior design, and traveling. Joelyn would like to thank her community and church choir directors, Sarah Wingard and Sue Pearce, for their significant influence in instilling a love of singing.

Tate Boyer

Tate Boyer

Tate Boyer (Nuns Ensemble) is a soon to be graduate of Manheim Township High School who is thrilled to be a part of the cast of The Sound of Music. She most recently played Chip in her high school’s production of Beauty and the Beast. Previous shows she has done with Servant Stage are Frozen Jr, Once Upon A Time, and Lion King Jr. as well as being a part of AppCo the past two summers. Other shows she has been in include, Mary Poppins at her high school, and Shrek the Musical Jr, Singing in the Rain Jr, and Music Man Jr, Frozen Jr, and Mary Poppins Jr at Cavod, and Music Man Jr and Clue: On Stage in middle school. Along with theatre, Tate likes to read, play guitar, and bake. In the fall, she will be attending Messiah University to study elementary education.

Jessica Jean Brown

Jessica Jean Brown

Jessica Jean Brown (Nuns Ensemble, Sister Sophia u/s) received her first musical role in 10th grade as Louisa/nun in The Sound of Music. Her favorite role was Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, and after graduating from Marywood University with a BA in Musical Theatre, she moved to NYC to pursue that, and gain 2nd callbacks. While there, she also worked at the famous Ellen's Stardust Diner of singing waitstaff on Broadway until an undiagnosed illness set in. While seeking answers, Jessica is preparing a YouTube channel of songs and Bible studies. She thanks God for saving her 5 years ago and placing her in this new community - with an opportunity to serve them and return to the stage - and hopes of one day working at Sight and Sound. She couldn't do any of this without Jesus and the support of her husband, family, and friends, and hopes they know how much they're loved.

Josiah Brubaker

Josiah Brubaker

Josiah Brubaker (Kurt) enjoys acting. This is his first show with Servant Stage. In the past, he has performed shows with Cavod, Learning Station Co-op, and Reji Woods. These shows include: Into the Woods, Seussical, How To Host A Murder Mystery Dinner Party, Peter Rabbit, and Where Are You Christmas?. He enjoys singing with Cornerstone Homeschool Co-op choir and has performed in many concerts. Josiah increased his musical talent by hiring Reji Woods, who has helped him with his singing and acting hobbies. In his spare time, one can find Josiah: playing board games, acting, solving Rubiks Cubes, and reading mystery novels. He wishes to thank Mr. (Reji) Woods, and his mother for helping him audition for this show. Josiah also wishes to thank his three brothers, father, friends, and extended family members, who have been supportive in his endeavors. Above all, Josiah wants to thank God for giving him this talent.

Tirzah Byers

Tirzah Byers

Tirzah Byers (Nuns Ensemble, Ursula u/s, Party Guest swing), a sophomore in Lancaster Bible College’s Musical Theater program, is beyond grateful to be a part of such a beautiful story as The Sound of Music. A few of her favorite credits are, Amy March/Troll in Little Women (LBC), Rock Around the Clock (Servant Stage), Anna in Frozen Jr. (Servant Stage), New Rochelle Ensemble in Ragtime (Servant Stage), Reuben’s Wife in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor (Susquehanna Stage Company), among many others. Tirzah would like to thank her family, friends, and the Servant Stage staff for always challenging, believing, and helping her to be where she is at today. She would also like to thank the cast and production team for being the amazing kind-hearted people they are and for making this show incredible. Psalm 46:10

Matt Chambers

Matt Chambers

Matt Chambers (Admiral von Schreiber, Captain u/s, Ensemble, Party Guest, Deacon at wedding, Baron Elberfeld u/s) is excited and honored to be a part of the The Sound of Music and a wonderfully gifted and talented cast and crew. He previously performed with Servant Stage in The Old Time Gospel Radio Show, and is thrilled to join them once again. Matt has performed in multiple shows at Sight & Sound Theatres, Dutch Apple Dinner Theater, and in various other community and church theaters in the Lancaster County area. Because of a deep love and appreciation for music, Matt has enjoyed locally touring with a southern gospel quartet and an award-winning trio in Texas. Currently, Matt serves as the Worship Pastor at his church and is a Clinical Manager in the field of eye care. “I thank my Lord, Jesus Christ, for this amazing opportunity and send my thanks to my wife, Megan, and our four amazing children, Judah, Noah, Chloe, & Tucker.”

Reagan Connell

Reagan Connell

Reagan Connell (Liesl von Trapp) is thrilled to be a part of her first mainstage Servant Stage production, playing a dream role! She is entering her junior year at the Center for Performing and Fine Arts (PALCS). Past dance roles include Susan, original ballet Wonder (Cavod), and Clara (LDC) in The Nutcracker. Musical theater roles include Godspell (Joanne) with Servant Stage, The Christmas Tree Ship (Female Swing; Blue Gate Musicals), Hello Dolly (DC/Featured Dancer), Tale of Two Cities (Seamstress/DC), and Little Women (Beth) at Cavod, and Newsies (Katherine Plumber; HCPAC), Annie (Annie, LCS). Most recently she co-starred in the short film, The Pony Cart Adventures (Linda). She would like to thank her family and friends for their endless support and love! May all the glory be to God! Christen Demnitz

Christen Demnitz (Nuns Ensemble, feature in “How Do You Solve…”) Christen has performed with several Pennsylvania and New Jersey based theaters including The Belmont, (All My Sons -Lydia), Servant Stage, (Newsies- Beauty), Piercing Word, (One Story -Eve/ woman), Cavod, (Tale of Two Cities- Madam Defarge u/s), Creative Pursuits, (Reprise Cabaret), Livingston Theater Company, (How to Succeed- Rosemary), and Brundage Park Play House, (Fiddler on the Roof- Fruma Sarah). She has also worked backstage for Sight & Sound's musicals David, and Esther. Her aim is to help bring art to life that will helps bring truth to life. A big thanks to Jesus, family and friends <3

Riley Fidler

Riley Fidler

Riley Fidler (Ursula, Nuns Ensemble) is very thankful to be included in Servant Stage’s production of The Sound of Music. Riley is 15 years old and a student at Conestoga Valley High School. She is a student of dance, including ballet, tap, and jazz. She also studies voice and acting and is a 3 year member of Servant Stage Teen Company. Some of Riley’s favorite roles are Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Miss Honey in Matilda, Jr., Radio Assistant in Old Time Gospel Radio Hour, Issachar in Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, Jr., and Genie in Aladdin, Jr. In addition to performing in shows, she also enjoys being a cheerleader. Riley would like to thank her dance, voice, and acting instructors for all their encouragement!

Lexi Fisher

Lexi Fisher

Lexi Fisher (Nuns Ensemble, Party Guest, Fraulein Schweiger) is thrilled to perform in her first production with Servant Stage! Originally from Hanover, PA, Lexi now lives in Lancaster where she is living her dream serving as an administrative assistant and performer for Piercing Word Ministry. She has been blessed to be a part of many of their productions, including The One Story (Woman/Holy Spirit), Stewardship (Wisdom/Fool/Wise Person Swing), Passion: The Musical (Woman), Ruth (Naomi), and more. Other credits include Mary Magdalene in But We See Jesus and Lydia Vins in No Place to Flee, both with the Academy of Arts Ministries. The Sound of Music has been one of her favorite musicals since childhood. It is her hope that you will be inspired to find the joy in every moment, and, like the von Trapp family, have the courage to hold fast to what is right, whatever the sacrifice or cost. Special thanks to her amazing family and friends who have never failed to encourage and support her. All for His glory!

Julian Ford

Julian Ford

Julian Ford (Friedrich) is a 10th Grader at Lampeter-Strasburg. He is excited to make his return to Servant Stage as “Friedrich” in The Sound of Music. His most recent role was “Mr. Bundles/ensemble” in Annie for Lampeter-Strasburg and The Musical Box as a featured singer and “Delivery Boy” in Frosty. Julian’s previous performance for Servant Stage was “Edgar/Little Boy” in Ragtime. Julian’s other shows include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as “Jeremy Potts”, two Frozen Jr. musicals for Lampeter-Strasburg and Servant Sage as “Duke of Weselton”, The Miracle Worker as “Percy” at Belmont Theater, Anything Goes at Lampeter-Strasburg, Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of the Crown Jewel as “Pip” at The Fulton Theater, and “Bruce” in Matilda for Gretna Playhouse. He enjoys tennis, basketball, swimming, and time with friends. Julian takes piano and vocal lessons with Sally Armstrong. Julian wishes to thank his family, friends, and Sally for their support.

​​Silas Frank (Friedrich) he/him, is thrilled to join the cast of The Sound of Music with Servant Stage. His favorite recent roles include Tommy Boy in Servant Stage’s production of Newsies, Young Charlie (u/s) in the Fulton Theatre’s production of Kinky Boots, and Kurt von Trapp (u/s) in the Fulton Theatre’s production of The Sound of Music. Most recently, you might have seen him as Child 1 and the Ghost of Christmas Past in the Servant Stage production of A Christmas Carol. A Lancaster County native and a 7th grader at Manor Middle School, Silas loves to play the violin. He studies voice and piano with Caleb Heckman. Silas would like to thank his family, his friends, and Servant Stage for this opportunity!

Rachel Rochet Gerber

Rachel Rochet Gerber

Rachel Rochet Gerber (Nuns Ensemble, feature in “How Do You Solve…”) grew up in New York's Adirondack Park and moved to Pennsylvania after graduating from Messiah University with a BFA in Musical Theatre in 2021. Rachel is thrilled to be in her first show at Servant Stage, telling one of her favorite stories! Toddler Rachel danced and sang along to The Sound of Music VHS on repeat, and adult Rachel is just as excited to be doing the show, this time on a stage instead of in the living room! Most recently, Rachel appeared as Violet/Miss Electricity in Gretna Theatre's touring outreach production of Miss Electricity. Other favorite credits include Susan in Company, Diana Barry in Anne of Green Gables, and Cosette in Les Miserables. Rachel thanks her husband and family for their love and support, and the cast and crew for this wonderful experience. Soli Deo Gloria.

Josh Glacken

Josh Glacken

Josh Glacken (Max) is very honored to be returning to the stage in his first show with Servant Stage. Josh earned a music performance degree at IUP, after which he moved to Lancaster to join the cast of Sight & Sound Theaters and co-direct the music program at Faith EC Church. He has since transitioned into the non-profit world where uses his performance skills to convince people to support worthy causes. He currently works for Movement.org a ministry seeking to catalyze Christian leaders around the world to spiritually and socially impact the urban centers in which they live, work and do ministry. In his spare time, he’s done a few shows with Piercing Word and participates in the music program at his church. “Thanks to my family for your support and Servant Stage for this amazing opportunity!”

Jozlyn Grodski

Jozlyn Grodski

Jozlyn Grodski (Frau Zeller, Nuns Ensemble) is excited to be stepping back into her passion for theater and performing after a few years away from the spotlight. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented cast and crew in bringing this beloved musical to life. Jozlyn is thrilled to be making her return to the stage as Frau Zeller and as a part of the Nun Ensemble in this production of The Sound of Music. When she’s not in a Servant Stage production, Jozlyn can be found in the Southern Lancaster County Community Choir, at her daughter’s dance performances or her sons’ various activities - 4 kids keeps ya busy! She’s never one to turn down a good taco and loves trying out new restaurants with her husband, Reid. A special thanks to Karen Huber and Chad Young for encouraging her to keep learning, growing and trying.

Brayden Halter

Brayden Halter

Brayden Halter (Ensemble, Party Guest, Altar Boy, Nazi, Rolf u/s) is a freshman in the Musical Theater program at Lancaster Bible College. He has been doing theater since 5th grade with his first show being The Sound of Music! Other shows include; The Curious Savage, Honk Jr., Sherlock Holmes, Old Time Gospel Radio: Christmas, Seussical, Pride and Predjudice, Mary Poppins, 12 Angry Men, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, Newsies, Into the Woods, and Little Women. He praises God for the talents and skills that He has given him, he thanks his parents and family for being super supportive! He also wants to give a shout out to his beautiful little newborn niece!

Caleb Heckman

Caleb Heckman

Caleb Heckman (Franz, Max u/s) is thrilled to be managing the Captain’s household and sharing this beautiful story with this cast and crew! He has been involved with Servant Stage in multiple capacities since 2015, including on stage in A Christmas Carol, Amazing Grace, The Music Man, and Titanic; as music director and pit conductor for 2022’s Ragtime; and as music director for various summer camps (shoutout to the youth performers!). Caleb is grateful to spend the majority of his time in the arts teaching private piano, voice, and acting lessons; directing choirs and handbells; and teaching acting classes.

Gene Hole

Gene Hole

Gene Hole (Herr Zeller, Franz u/s) is pleased as punch to be working with the Servant Stage team for a 7th time, having been part of past shows that include Titanic, Music Man, Old Time Gospel Radio Hour, and My Fair Lady. Other favorite roles include Gomez Addams (The Addams Family), Charlie Davenport (Annie Get Your Gun), Marcus Lycus (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), Perchik (Fiddler On The Roof), and Inspector Craddock (A Murder is Announced), as well as roles in Jekyll & Hyde, Taming of the Shrew, Much Ado About Nothing, Little Shop of Horrors, and Legally Blonde. He also enjoys working behind the scenes, as a director of productions such as The Diary of Anne Frank, Frankenstein, and Noises Off!, in addition to designing and building sets for those and many other shows. Evelyn Hoover

Evelyn Hoover

Evelyn Hoover (Gretl) has been a part of the Servant Stage family for her whole life and is thrilled to be making her musical theatre debut in Servant Stage's The Sound Of Music! She is a second grade homeschool student who loves singing, dancing, and putting on shows for her family with her siblings. She recently completed her third dance season with Premiere Danse Academy. “Thanks to Jesus for giving me my talents and to Miss Amy, Mr. Johnathan, and my parents for helping me to grow in them!”

Colin Horst

Colin Horst

Colin Horst (Ensemble, Party Guest, Butler, Altar Boy, Nazi) is thrilled to return for his third Servant Stage show, The Sound of Music. Ever since his first performance in Encore Homeschool Production’s Fiddler on the Roof, Theater has reserved a special place in his heart. He went on to preform is Encore’s Newsies, Bye, Bye Birdie, and Disney goes to Broadway cabaret. Aside from the performing arts, Colin enjoys drawing, writing, and almost any other type of creative activity. He is currently enrolled in a three-year program, The Author Conservatory, to pursue a career in writing. Colin is excited to continue acting, dancing, and singing beyond high school via Servant Stage and hopes the cast’s stellar performance will blow the audience away!

Cassidy Ingram

Cassidy Ingram (Sister Sophia) is so excited to be a part of The Sound of Music, a show whose music and message she's loved for a long time! She is also so excited to get to perform with her former voice teacher, Katie Wieand, who helped shape her voice and confidence into what it is now! Tayah Julian

Tayah Julian (Louisa von Trapp u/s) is thrilled to be joining the cast of The Sound of Music with Servant Stage. She lives with her family in Lancaster County and is a 6th grade student in the Penn Manor School District. Her favorite roles include Coroner (The Wizard of Oz, Penn Manor High School) Middle Anna (Frozen Jr, Servant Stage) and Annie (Annie, Popovsky Performing Arts.) In her free time, Tayah likes to sing, play field hockey, serve on her church’s youth worship team, and spend time with her family, friends and dog, Koda. Tayah would like to thank her family, Caleb Heckman, Servant Stage and the Lord for this opportunity.

Brodie Kennedy

Brodie Kennedy (Kurt) is thrilled to once again be joining the team at Servant Stage in the role of "Kurt" in The Sound of Music! His previous roles include: "Bruce" in Matilda Jr, "Les" in Disney's Newsies, "Tiny Tim/Young Scrooge/Ignorance" in A Christmas Carol (all with Servant Stage), "Young Charlie" in Kinky Boots and "Tiny Tim" in A Christmas Carol (both at The Fulton) "Michael Hobbs" in Elf the Musical (at the Dutch Apple) and "Pugsley" in The Addams Family (with The Musical Box). Brodie would like to thank everyone at Servant Stage for helping him to find his passion and love for theatre!
