Eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts, sets about restoring an old race car with the help of his children, Jeremy and Jemima. They soon discover the car is magic, and has the ability to float and take flight! When the evil Baron Bomburst desires the magic car for himself, the family joins forces with Truly Scrumptious and Grandpa Potts to outwit the dastardly Baron and Baroness and their villainous henchman, the Child Catcher. Filled with unforgettable songs from the Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang JR. is a high-flying, fun-filled adventure that is sure to dazzle audiences!
auditions
Auditions will be held during the first day of camp. All registered students participate in auditions, which help the production team play to everyone’s strengths in the distribution of roles and other show material. More details about auditions are included in the Welcome Letter sent about two months prior to the start of rehearsals.
Schedule
This JR camp takes place from 9am-5pm each day, July 12-17, at Smoketown Elementary School. Students will be called at 9am on Saturday. The performances will be at 11am and 3pm on Saturday, July 17.

Performances take place at Smoketown Elementary School (500 Mt Sidney Rd, Lancaster, PA 17602).

Approximate run-time is an hour and 15 minutes. No intermission.
Tickets are Pay-What-You-Will and all donations help support Servant Stage's Youth Theatre program!
Info on Tuition/Financial Aid
See our Tiered Pricing Options. A non-refundable $25 fee is required for initial registration.
Within a week of your enrollment, you will receive instructions to make full tuition payment and complete your registration through the new Servant Stage portal. Payment will be due by December 15. No refunds will be issued within one month of the start of camp (June 12). Youth Theatre Production costs include: T-shirt, all materials and handouts, and rehearsals with the Servant Stage staff.

Additional Information
Students will need to bring their own snacks, lunches, and water bottles. All students who register are expected to be able to attend all rehearsals and performances.
