Meet The Directors

LAUREN SCHAEFFER (Director) is passionate about youth growing in the skills and joys of theater and is so happy to lead the charge of The Lion King JR with a wonderful team after having directed Once on This Island JR, Aladdin JR, and Frozen JR, also for Servant Stage’s youth theatre! She graduated from Liberty University and the years since have kept her busy on and off stage, teaching acting and voice, staffing summer camps, directing youth shows, being a part of the Servant Stage staff, and performing when she has the chance. She and her husband JT love Lancaster’s theatre community and are happily introducing their baby girl to the world of theatre. See you at camp!

BRANDON CAMERON (Assistant Director, Choreographer) is excited to be joining Servant Stage Company again this summer for their camp program. While he is from Southern NJ, Brandon has been performing professionally in the Lancaster area for the last ten years. He has been blessed to perform with Servant Stage Company, American Music Theatre, PRiMA Theatre, Sight & Sound Theatres and Piercing Word. He has enjoyed being a part of many of the Servant Stage productions, as well as the Godspell JR, Getting to Know Oklahoma, Once on This Island JR, High School Musical JR, Once Upon a Mattress JR, and Annie JR summer camps. He is looking forward to being a faculty member for this year's summer camp and sharing the mission and vision of Servant Stage.

WALLY CALDERON (Servant Stage Artistic Director) Originally from Green Bay, WI, Wally Calderon earned his BFA in Music Theatre Performance and Direction from Ohio Northern University. For over 15 years, Wally traveled the country as a freelance performer, director, and choreographer. Notable stays include the Miracle Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN, The Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH, Hershey Park, and the highly credited Stagedoor Manor in upstate New York. Wally moved to Lancaster in 2012 where he spent five amazing years holding multiple positions at Sight & Sound Theatres. He considers it an honor and a blessing to be in his fifth year as Artistic Director of Servant Stage Company, and to be a part of a community that is so supportive of the arts in Lancaster. “Special thanks to my wonderful wife Andrea and my two sweetest daughters, Joyanna and Juliet. All the glory to God for the amazing gifts and opportunities He has given me!” Psalms 149:3
