Meet The Director

LAUREN SCHAEFFER (Director) is passionate about youth growing in the skills and joys of theater and is so happy to lead the charge of Frozen JR with a wonderful team after having directed Once on This Island JR, Aladdin JR, and 2020s Frozen JR, also for Servant Stage’s youth theatre! She graduated from Liberty University and the years since have kept her busy on and off stage, teaching acting and voice, staffing summer camps, directing youth shows, being a part of the Servant Stage staff, and performing when she has the chance. She and her husband JT love Lancaster’s theatre community and are happily introducing their baby girl to the world of theatre. See you at camp!

STEPHANIE MORALES (Assistant Director, Choreographer) holds her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Choreography and Education from Belhaven University. For over 5 years, she has been a dance educator, choreographer, and director locally and across the nation. You can find Stephanie working as a dance instructor in Lancaster, Pennsylvania at Cavod Performing Arts. She continues to pursue her passion in choreography by presenting original works in local festivals, choreographing shows for Cavod Theater (Dr.Dolittle Jr., Beauty and the Beast Jr., Seussical, Lion King Jr., Mary Poppins Jr., Gift of the Magi, Frozen Jr. and Into the Woods Jr.), writing, creating, and directing "Wonder – a Christmas Ballet" for Cavod Ballet Theatre, as well as traveling to set works on dance companies. Stephanie also attended American Ballet Theater’s National Teacher Training and is a certified ABT NTC teacher in the pre-primary- level 3 curriculum.

Whether teaching, dancing, or choreographing, Stephanie’s passion is to instill the love of the art of dance into her students or audience. Her hope is to show the joy that dance can bring your soul and believes that through hard work, dedication, laughter, and learning from mistakes, one can find an appreciation for the arts no matter what you do in the future.

WALLY CALDERON (Servant Stage Artistic Director) Originally from Green Bay, WI, Wally Calderon earned his BFA in Music Theatre Performance and Direction from Ohio Northern University. Wally moved to Lancaster in 2012 where he spent five amazing years holding multiple positions at Sight & Sound Theatres. He considers it an honor and a blessing to be in his fifth year as Artistic Director of Servant Stage Company, and to be a part of a community that is so supportive of the arts in Lancaster. “Special thanks to my wonderful wife Andrea and my two sweetest daughters, Joyanna and Juliet.
