Disney’s Moana JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the 2016 Disney animated film, bringing the adventures of Moana and her village of Motunui to life onstage. Moana JR. features all the beloved songs from the film, written by Tony®, GRAMMY, Emmy, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa’i, and Mark Mancina, including “How Far I’ll Go,” “Shiny,” and “You’re Welcome.”

This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana JR. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us.

Schedule

Camp runs from 9am-5pm each day. The performances for family and friends will be on Saturday, July 31st at 3 pm and 7 pm at Lancaster County Christian School.

Costs

  • $225 - includes all activities & materials

  • EARLY BIRD - $200 (before December 31, 2020)

  • LATE REGISTRATION - $250 (after March 31, 2021)

Youth Theatre Summer Camp costs include

  • camp t-shirt

  • all materials and handouts

  • daily rehearsals with the Servant Stage staff

Students will need to bring their own lunch, snacks, and water bottles.


Meet The Directors

JOSHUA WILLIAM GREEN (Director) is an actor, singer, dancer from Youngstown, Ohio now based in NYC. He grew up as a member of the Archangel Dance Theater and toured internationally with the Youngstown Connection. He attended The American Musical Dramatic Academy in New York and Youngstown State University for Musical theater. Most recently, Joshua has been in The national tours of Ragtime (Booker T. Understudy), Finding Neverland (Mr. Henshaw). He has been seen performing everywhere from the Children’s Olympics, Prima Theatre, Sight & Sound Theatres to even singing behind Sam Smith on the 2018 Grammy Awards. " I am beyond excited to be back home with Servant Stage!"

WALLY CALDERON (Servant Stage Artistic Director) Originally from Green Bay, WI, Wally Calderon earned his BFA in Music Theatre Performance and Direction from Ohio Northern University. For over 15 years, Wally traveled the country as a freelance performer, director, and choreographer. Notable stays include the Miracle Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN, The Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH, Hershey Park, and the highly credited Stagedoor Manor in upstate New York. Wally moved to Lancaster in 2012 where he spent five amazing years holding multiple positions at Sight & Sound Theatres. He considers it an honor and a blessing to be in his fourth year as Artistic Director of Servant Stage Company, and to be a part of a community that is so supportive of the arts in Lancaster. “Special thanks to my wonderful wife Andrea and my two sweetest daughters, Joyanna and Juliet.
