Servant Stage is honored to present a concert experience of the Broadway musical Amazing Grace.

A captivating tale of romance, rebellion, and redemption, Amazing Grace is an unforgettable concert experience based on the Broadway musical that captures the spirit of history’s sweetest and most powerful sound: freedom. All shows are Pay-What-You-Will in keeping with Servant Stage's mission to make exceptional performances accessible to everyone.
Please be advised that this production includes depictions of the horrors of slavery, as it is based on the life story of slave-trader-turned-abolitionist John Newton. Though some of the material may be difficult and traumatic to experience, we believe this story and its themes of freedom, justice, redemption, and amazing grace are important. We believe that the best theatre should inspire, educate, and challenge us, as well as entertain. We hope that you will be impacted in these ways by Servant Stage's production of Amazing Grace.

Meet The Cast
Robert Bigley (Captain Newton) is delighted to return to Servant Stage Co. in this incredible production. A familiar face to Lancaster theatre audiences, Robert has appeared in three Servant Stage productions (Prodigal, Titanic, HMS Pinafore), and performs frequently with the Fulton Theatre (Mamma Mia!, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Newsies, Big the Musical), as well as PRiMA Theatre (Jekyll and Hyde, Evita, West Side Story, and Chess). He also recently portrayed Sigmund Freud in Reverie Actors Co.’s staging of the two-man show Freud’s Last Session. Robert has been on the Music, Worship, and Performing Arts faculty at Lancaster Bible College since 2007, and is the founding director of The Trust Performing Arts Center. He holds degrees from the University of Miami, the Eastman School of Music, and University of Washington. Robert and his wife, the pianist Kendra Bigley, have three amazing children and two awesome children-in-law. SDG
Nathan Cooney (Mr. Tyler, Ensemble, Chief, Thomas U/S) is, once again, honored to join the Servant Stage Family in telling another beautiful story. Originally from Baltimore, he spent twelve years living and performing in various theatres around Lancaster. Audiences may have seen him at the Gretna Playhouse, the Timbers Dinner Theatre, Prima Theatre Co., American Music Theatre or Sight & Sound Theatres just to name a few. After a two year hiatus, he is excited to be back on stage!
Annelise Deppen (Ensemble) is so excited to be performing with Servant Stage again! She was most recently seen in Susquehanna Stage’s production of Follies. Prior to the pandemic, Elise made her Servant Stage debut as ‘Elsa’ in Frozen Jr. During this difficult time for theater Elise has performed in many virtual cabarets with local theater’s and her theater group at Millersville University. She has also kept up with her passion for costuming, most recently co-creating all of the costumes for Baron Stage’s Mary Poppins. She would like to thank her cast and everyone who helped make Amazing Grace possible!
Susan DiNovis (Ensemble) is excited to be back for her second show with Servant Stage. She was last seen in The Music Man. Susan has performed with EPAC, PRiMA , as well as other area theaters. When not on stage, Susan teaches in the Autistic Support program at SDOL. Love to her husband, Michael.
Josiah Evans (Mr. Tyler U/S, Ensemble), a high school sophomore, is excited to perform for the first time with Servant Stage Company in Amazing Grace. Josiah’s love of theatre and music has led to roles with Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts, Reji Woods Productions and more. He was last seen as LeFou in Beauty and the Beast and the Artful Dodger in Oliver! Other theatre roles include Samuel in The Pirates of Penzance JR, the Munchkin Mayor in The Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan in Peter Pan JR. Josiah studies piano and violin; he also participates in orchestra and choral groups with Lancaster Academy and Susquehanna Youth Chorale. In his spare time, he likes to read, hang out with his family, and write, record and produce his own music. Josiah extends a huge thanks to the cast, his family, and the directors for their support!
Riley Fidler (Ensemble) is thrilled to be included in Servant Stage’s production of Amazing Grace. Riley is 13 years old and a student at Conestoga Valley Middle School. She has been a student of dance for 8 years, including ballet, tap, and jazz. She also studies voice and acting and is a member of Servant Stage’s Teen Company. Riley has appeared in local musical productions including Servant Stage’s Old Time Gospel Radio Show, Don’t Rock the Jukebox and Jingle Bell Jukebox, Creative Pursuit’s Frozen Kids (Anna), EPAC’s Frozen, Jr. (Middle Elsa), Cavod Theatre’s Shrek, Jr. (Teen Fiona), Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre’s Peace, Love, and Cupcakes (Joy). In addition to performing in shows, she also enjoys baking and making jewelry. Riley would like to thank Servant Stage and her dance, voice, and acting instructors for all their encouragement!
Jennifer Fort (Ensemble) is excited to be working with Servant Stage again in Amazing Grace! “I have had the privilege of performing with Servant Stage in the past in Titanic and The Old Time Gospel Radio Hour. While my career is in teaching kindergarten, I love to get involved in local theatre groups and have also been a part of the musical Chess with Prima. Looking forward to this experience with Amazing Grace and thankful to be using the gifts God has given me for His glory.”
Leah Naomi Foster (Carlotta, Mrs. Catlett U/S, Ensemble) is blessed and excited to be a part of her first show with Servant Stage! Previous credits include Maria (The Sound of Music), Peter Pan (Peter Pan), The Prima Mermaid in Beach Party Blast, and Ensemble in Sight & Sound’s premiere year of Jesus. This past summer she had the opportunity to help dub a Ukrainian soap opera with Gravitywell Films, and has been actively touring the show Stewardship with Piercing Word. In her free time you can find her designing vinyl stickers, whippin’ up lattes, pottin’ plants, or thrift shopping. Big thanks to Wally and the rest of the cast and crew, enjoy the show!
Griselda Jimenez Gomes (Ensemble) is a sophomore at Lancaster Bible College studying towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the Musical Theatre program. She most recently performed in LBC's Singin' in the Rain and Radium Girls. She could not be more blessed to be a part of the Servant Stage production, Amazing Grace. Griselda, an Annville-Cleona alumnus, participated in shows such as The Little Mermaid, Oklahoma, 42nd Street, and Bye-Bye Birdie. In addition, she would like to wish a special thank you to the production team and cast for their talents and efforts to make this show possible! Griselda would also like to thank her parents for their unconditional love and encouragement, her friends for bringing laughter and support, and her professors, who continue to challenge and mentor her along the way. Ethan Goss (Prince Frederick, Mr. Whitley U/S, Ensemble), LBC ’24, is overjoyed to return to performing with Servant Stage! His most recent appearance with SSC was in The Music Man (Ensemble). Favorite past shows include West Side Story (Tony) at Dreamwrights Center for Community Arts, Oliver! (Noah Claypole) with the Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts, and The Buddy Holly Story (Jerry Allison/Drummer) at The Belmont Theater. When not busy in school, Ethan can be found hanging with friends or playing drums in his basement. Much thanks to Wally, Joe, and all the amazing people at Servant Stage for this opportunity. Joshua William Green (Thomas) is an actor, singer, dancer from Youngstown, Ohio now based in Lancaster, PA. He grew up as a member of the Archangel Dance Theater and toured internationally with the Youngstown Connection. He attended The American Musical Dramatic Academy in New York and Youngstown State University for Musical theater. Most recently, Joshua has been in The national tours of Ragtime (Booker T. Understudy), Finding Neverland (Mr. Henshaw). Children’s Olympics, Sight and Sound Theatres to singing behind Sam Smith on the 2018 Grammy Awards. He recently became the artistic director of the historic Youngstown Playhouse. “Performing with Servant Stage is like being home again.”
Lindsey Grimble-Adams (Princess, Ensemble) is excited to be back onstage with her Servant Stage family. You last saw her in The Civil War. Lindsey’s favorite role is being a New Mama to Copper Warrior. Tori Guhl (Ensemble) is in 12th grade at Warwick High School. She has been performing since 6th grade, and is now heavily involved in the musical theater department and show choir/production companies at her school. She also has enjoyed performing outside of school with Servant Stage Company, Creative Pursuits Academy, and Popovsky Performing Arts Studio. Outside of theater, Tori enjoys talking with her friends and eating snacks. Tori is super excited to be in Amazing Grace this year, as she loves Servant Stage and their mission.
Caleb Heckman (Mr. Whitley, Ensemble) has enjoyed being involved in many productions with Servant Stage over the years, including on stage in The Music Man, A Christmas Carol, Titanic, and HMS Pinafore; as the music director for Daddy Long Legs; as an accompanist for I’ll Fly Away and several concerts in the Living Room Concert Series; and as a music director for Moana Jr, Once Upon a Mattress Jr, Frozen Jr. and a counselor for Once on this Island Jr. youth camps. Outside of Servant Stage, Caleb has worked as an actor, music director, or accompanist for Cavod Theatre and Cavod Academy, Susquehanna Stage Company, PRiMA Theatre, and The Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts. He is excited for to be bringing this beautiful story to life with Servant Stage Company!
Duane Hespell (Major Gray, Captain Newton U/S) Duane’s most recent appearance with Servant Stage was in the role of Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. Previous appearances include roles in H.M.S. Pinafore, The Importance of Being Ernest and The Old Time Gospel Radio Hour Christmas Show. After this crazy year, Duane is more than excited to be sharing live storytelling once again. May this one leave a hopeful impression on all of our hearts to truly value each other and embrace the joy in each of life's moments, regardless of the circumstances.
David Hewitt (Haweis, Ensemble) is very excited to make his Servant Stage debut in this production of Amazing Grace! A few of his favorite roles over the years have been Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof, Lefou in Beauty and the Beast and Will Parker in Oklahoma. David would like to acknowledge his teachers and classmates from the Sight & Sound Conservatory class of 2019, as well as his family for all of their support. Most importantly, David would like to thank his beautiful wife, Maddie for her constant encouragement, patience and love.
Brooklyn Hilton (Ensemble) is delighted to be a part of another Servant Stage show! She is a homeschooled tenth grader who has been performing in the Lancaster area for seven years. Gene Hole (Clow, Major Gray U/S, Ensemble) is thrilled to be working with the Servant Stage team again, having been a part of 4 previous productions with them. He regularly performs in various local theatrical venues, where his favorite roles include Gomez Addams (The Addams Family), Charlie Davenport (Annie Get Your Gun), Charley Cowell (The Music Man), Marcus Lycus (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), and Perchik (Fiddler On The Roof), as well as roles in Titanic, My Fair Lady, Jekyll & Hyde, Taming of the Shrew, Much Ado About Nothing, Legally Blonde, and Little Shop of Horrors. He also enjoys working behind the scenes, as a director of productions such as The Diary of Anne Frank and Noises Off!, in addition to designing and building sets for those and other shows. Kristin Hurdleston (Sophie U/S, Carlotta U/S, Ensemble) is so excited to be in the ensemble and Sophie U/S in Amazing Grace! Kristin is a senior at LBC studying musical theatre and communication, and will be graduating this winter. Outside of school, she teaches tap, strengthening and stretching, and lyrical. Kristin grew up as a dancer, and has performed with Catalyst Collection Dance Company and other companies in Lancaster County. Previous roles onstage include Lina Lamont (Singin’ In The Rain), Ruth (Ruth), Dance Captain/Ensemble (Follies-Susquehanna Stage), Dance Captain/Featured Dancer (Bye Bye Birdie). She would like to thank the cast and crew for telling this amazing story! All glory to God!
Jeffrey Huyard (Ensemble) is a Singer first, Actor/Dancer second, and Fashionista Extraordinaire third. He grew up in Leola PA and found joy in musical performance late in his high school career. He found his love for music while involved in skilled vocal ensembles at Susquehanna University. His most recent performances include his roles in Newsies and Jesus Christ Superstar at Governor Mifflin Summer Theatre. Outside of performing, Jeff serves in worship and leads in young adult ministries at Calvary Church in Lancaster.
Mackenzie Islip (Ensemble) is delighted to be a part of Servant Stage’s production of Amazing Grace. She is entering her senior year at Lancaster Bible College as a musical theatre major and has been a part of LBC’s productions of Singin' In The Rain, Tradition, Ruth, and Bye Bye Birdie. She most recently played Grace Fryer in the college’s production of Radium Girls. Mackenzie is so excited to work alongside of the incredible Servant Stage team and is humbled by the opportunity to be a part of such a beautiful production. Aden “AJ” Jackson (Ensemble) is very excited to be part of this amazing show, Amazing Grace! He has performed in several other shows with Servant Stage Company including The Old Time Gospel Radio Hour, Don’t Rock the Jukebox, Bye Bye Birdie JR, Godspell JR, and High School Musical JR. As a senior at Solanco High School he has enjoyed performing the role of Donkey in Shrek the Musical, as Willard in Footloose, and Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance. Aden plays the violin and sings in Solanco’s Chorale, an elite choral ensemble. He is active in his Boy Scout Troop and is currently working on his Eagle Rank. He would like to thank his family for their love and support.
Kayleigh Jarkowsky (Ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of Amazing Grace! Kayleigh is 16 years old and is currently a Junior at Harrisburg Christian School. Kayleigh also takes voice with Catherine Walker at Creative Pursuits Academy and has been in four cabarets there. Some of Kayleigh’s favorite SSC credits include The Old Time Gospel Radio Hour, Don’t Rock the Jukebox, Oklahoma JR, (Ado Annie), and Frozen JR. (Anna). Other favorites include, Oliver! (Pickpocket & Dance Captain) and Seussical JR. (Gertrude McFuzz) with LAPA, A Little Princess (Becky) with Dreamwrights, and Pippin (Catherine) with Susquehanna Stage. When not at rehearsal you can usually find Kayleigh playing with her dog Maggie and hanging out with friends. Kayleigh would like to thank her family and teachers for always supporting her. Kayla Klase (Mary Catlett) is overwhelmed with gratitude and overjoyed to return to theatre with Servant Stage Company! Kayla has most recently performed with Servant Stage in A Christmas Carol: Audio Drama as well as their Living Room Concert Series. You may have also seen her in A Million Dreams, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Sing, Sing, Swing!, among others! Other credits include: LanCarolers (Prima Theatre); Holiday Inn (Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre), “Mary Martin of Tours” in Sister Act (DADT); “Anna Maria” in Godspell (Prima Theatre); No Easy Road to Freedom (Gretna Theatre). Avery William Klees (Ensemble) is 20 and is a graduate of Towanda High School class of 2019. Avery has been in many other productions such as Beauty and the Beast (Beast), Annie Get Your Gun (Frank Buttler) and Shrek the Musical (Shrek) in Towanda, PA. Ever since moving to Lancaster in September of 2019 he has been searching for a community theater to pursue his passion for theatre and he truly believes he has found his home at Servant Stage. Avery was also a video editor on Servant Stage’s The Civil War as well as Once upon a Time. Avery would like to thank his family for the constant support and his high school drama teacher for inspiring his love of acting.
Amanda Lewis (Sophie, Ensemble) is a Virginia raised girl who made Lancaster her new home when she moved here to perform and study at Sight & Sound Theaters. She was in Servant Stage’s production of The Marvelous Wonderettes and has been a part of several of their youth camps, most recently directing High School Musical 2 Jr. She was also seen in this area as Belle in EPAC’s production of Beauty and the Beast. A few other favorite shows include Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), Seussical (Gertrude), Peter Pan (Wendy) and Hairspray (Amber). She loves being busy and does many things! She is a nanny, a wedding hair stylist, a performer, a hair and skin care consultant, a wife and a mom. She and her husband were both homeschooled their whole lives in big families of 5 and 9 kids. Amanda is thrilled to be back working with Servant Stage. She adores this company and can not wait for you to see the show. She loves life and every opportunity she’s given!
Hannah Lingenfelter (Ensemble) is a sophomore at LBC in the Musical Theatre Department. She is set to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies in December of 2023. This is her first production with Servant Stage, and she could not be more thrilled to work with the amazing cast and crew of Amazing Grace. Some of Hannah’s favorite past roles include Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Olga Mara in LBC’s production of Singin’ in the Rain. Hannah wishes the cast and crew to “break a leg” and hopes you all enjoy the show!
Mary Ellen McVicker (Ensemble) is a sophomore at Lancaster Bible College who is a part of the musical theatre program. She is thrilled and thankful for the opportunity to be in the cast of Amazing Grace and feels honored to work with the rest of the cast. A few roles she has played as in the past consist of Jemima in Cats, Laozi in Mulan, and Erysichthon’s mother (young) in Metamorphosis. She would like to thank her close friends for all of their love and support, her parents for always being there and supporting her through the years, and the stage crew and director for making this whole show possible.
Brad Myer (Mr. Einhorn U/S, Mr. Quigley U/S, Ensemble) is very excited to join Servant Stage in their production of Amazing Grace! Past Servant Stage credits include Daddy Long Legs (Jervis Pendleton U/S), The Music Man (Tommy Djilas), Prodigal (Young Henry Cooper), and many more. Brad is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre and Biblical Studies at Lancaster Bible College. He has been performing for over a decade with local professional and community theaters. A few favorite credits include Voices of Christmas and Joseph with Sight and Sound Theatres, Hello, Dolly! (Barnaby Tucker) and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Linus van Pelt) with Lancaster Bible College, and Passion: The Musical (Judas, Pilate, John), and The One Story (Jesus) with Piercing Word. Brady Norgaard (Ensemble), age 16, is ready to share this amazing story with the Servant Stage audiences! Brady loves performing with Servant Stage and was most recently seen with Servant Stage in Once Upon a Mattress, Aladdin Jr., Don’t Rock the Jukebox, Frozen Jr., Music Man, Once on this Island Jr., Jump Jive and Jukebox, A Christmas Carol, Titanic, Jukebox Saturday Night, and Old-Time Gospel Radio Hour. Brady recently performed in the 2012-2019 American Music Theater Christmas Shows, as well as playing Curious George in Curious George at Dutch Apple Dinner Theater. Brady has also performed with the Fulton Theatre, Creative Works Lancaster, Piercing Word, Prima Theatre, Theater Harrisburg, and Lancaster Bible College. Brady would like to thank Servant Stage Company, his family, and teachers for this great opportunity.
John Oechslin’s (Ensemble) theatrical journey started in 2016 when he auditioned for his freshman high school musical Fiddler on the Roof and got the role of Sasha. He then went on to do many of his high school’s productions including Hello Dolly (Cornelius), Peter and the Starcatcher (Prentiss), King Lear (Kent), and Beauty and the Beast (Beast) which unfortunately did not see the stage due to Covid. He has also worked with Servant Stage on The Music Man (Ensemble) and Oklahoma Jr (Curly). He was a Principle in CPS’s Wanderlust Cabaret. He has also seen a small piece of the writers and directors chairs. He was the Narrator and CoWriter for Lovers and Liars, a tragedy about cheaters and players in high school, and he was the student director for GHMS’s productions of Hurricane Smith and the Garden of the Golden Monkey, which also did not see the stage due to Covid, and Haphazardly Ever After. At the most he has worked on three productions at one time. He is super excited to be in Amazing Grace.
Isabelle Olenik (Ensemble), known to family and friends as Issy, is seventeen years old and will be a senior come Fall 2021. Currently, her plans for college are to attend a school that allows her to have a dual major, which will give her the flexibility to pursue both musical theatre and psychology. Isabelle’s dream as an actress is to perform professionally in New York City, and experience the wonders and challenges of a career on Broadway. Isabelle has been performing locally for five years. Some of her favorite roles from past productions include a Jitterbug from The Wizard of Oz, Zaneeta Shin from The Music Man, and one of the Silly Girls from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. She’s also truly enjoyed her Teen Company experience with Servant Stage, and is extremely excited to perform in Amazing Grace! A huge shoutout to her family for encouraging her to pursue her dreams!
Nolen Petrosky (Haweis U/S, Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing in this powerful musical with Servant Stage with this fantastic cast and crew. He has performed in a number of shows throughout his theatre career including The Buddy Holly Story (Buddy), Pirates of Penzance (Frederic) and Newsies (Crutchie), for which he was awarded the Hershey Theater Apollo Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor. He’s been an instrumentalist since he was five, and it’s lovely to be able to use that skill in this environment, and he worked with Servant Stage earlier this year as a member of the Backwoods Boys in The Old Time Gospel Radio Hour. A thank you to everyone involved, and to Nolen’s family and friends for supporting him in all that he’s been attempting, no matter how ridiculous it may have seemed. Best Wishes!
Damaria Quick (Yema, Ensemble) is a junior at Lancaster Bible College, majoring in Musical Theater. She has been involved in theater for eleven years as a performer and took Shakespearean text training at the Baltimore Shakespeare Factory. This is her first show with Servant Stage. Aside from theater, Damaria has done film work, designed props, choreographed, and is a worship leader. Her family and friends are very supportive of her for pursuing her dreams in musical theater and most importantly keeping God first above all else.
Shaun Ressler (Ensemble) is so excited to be a part of Servant Stage's production of Amazing Grace! He just finished performing with the Southern Gentlemen Quartet in The Old Time Gospel Radio Hour this summer, and has previously been seen in Titanic (Guggenheim/Major), the past two Old Time Gospel Radio Hour productions (Quartets), and Forever Plaid (Smudge). Shaun primarily designs sound with Servant Stage, but always enjoys getting a chance to use the microphones instead of just controlling them. He holds a BA in Music (Voice) and a BS in Computer Science from Millersville University, and works as a Software Engineer for Cargas Systems. Adler Roberts (John Newton) is honored and humbled to be returning to Servant Stage after his role as Barrett in Titanic (2018)! He graduated with his BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he met the love of his life, Anna. Adler has performed all over in various roles in theatre and TV, but a few of his favorites remain the Beast (Beauty and the Beast), D’Artagnan (The Three Musketeers), Curly (Oklahoma!) Tybalt (Romeo and Juliet), and Rapunzel’s Prince (Into the Woods). Adler is currently working on a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the Templeton Honors College to better serve his community. As a Teacher and Pastor at Innovate Academy, Adler rejoices in the privilege to freely talk about the greatest story ever told in daily discipleship with his students. Jonathan Schaeffer (Clow U/S, Ensemble) just moved to Lancaster from Texas and is excited to be a part of this production with Servant Stage. He has played a variety of roles from Shakespeare's Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing to the Cat in the Hat in Seussical the Musical. Some other recent shows he's done have been Tarzan the Musical (Clayton) and Madagascar the Musical (King Julien), both with the Wichita Theatre in Texas, and Sermon on the Mount and Passion the Musical with Piercing Word in Lancaster, PA. Jonathan is currently working on his degree in Aviation through Liberty University with plans to become a commercial airline pilot. In the meantime he helps his dad run a business, and if he ever has any spare time, he loves to play volleyball and participate in anything outdoors.
Joy Schaeffer (Mrs. Catlett, Ensemble) moved from Texas to Lancaster recently and is thrilled to be in another production with Servant Stage, as she just joined them in the spring for Prodigal: A Musical Allegory. Joy has been singing, acting, music directing and directing with her community theaters and churches for over 25 years. Some of her favorite shows have been, Narnia the Musical (White Witch), The Sound of Music (Maria), Little Women the Musical (Marmee), Mary Poppins (Mrs. Banks), and Tarzan the Musical (Kala), but what has really brought her joy was getting to share the stage with her wonderful husband, James, and her four fantastic kids who love the theater too. You could say it has truly been a family affair. As well, Joy has been a worship leader for many years and having finished homeschooling the last of her children, it is definitely a new season in life. She is very grateful to Servant Stage for another exciting opportunity to get involved.
Riley Shroyer (Ensemble) is so excited to be a part of Amazing Grace. They have previously performed with Servant Stage in numerous youth camps, Don’t Rock The Jukebox, and Teen/Apprentice Company. Riley is homeschooled and in 11th grade. They have always enjoyed performing and have been seen at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater, American Music Theater, Popovsky Performing Arts Studio, Lancaster Academy, Lancaster Bible College, and EPAC. They have been dancing at Pulse Dance Studio for 9 years and are a part of the Junior National company. They take voice lessons with Joanne Abrom. Riley most recently took part in the AMDA High School Summer Conservatory in NYC. They’re so grateful for all the performance opportunities that have come their way as the pandemic situation improves, especially with Servant Stage.
Korri Slamans (Princess U/S, Ensemble) is excited to be able to perform in her first Servant Stage production! She is a junior musical theater major at Lancaster Bible College. She most recently performed in LBC’s production of Singin’ in the Rain. She also performed in LBC’s production of Sight and Sound’s Ruth. In high school, Korri appeared as “Miss Medda Larkin” in Newsies! with Encore! Homeschool Productions, and “Miss Shields” in A Christmas Story at HCPAC. She has also modeled for Los Angeles based brand Tboy Chiq, and the North Carolina based brand, Opportunities Co. Korri would like to thank her puppy River for listening to her memorizing lines. She would also like to thank her family for how crucial they’ve been in the development of her career.
Kennedy Urbanavage (Ensemble) is fourteen years old, and a freshman in high school. She lives with her parents and two siblings outside of Harrisburg. Homeschooled all her life, Kennedy’s favorite subject is poetry. She even writes some of her own! Kennedy is very familiar with the performing arts, having been a dancer since the age of three. Because of her love of singing, musical theatre just came naturally. She has been in four Servant Stage performances, Amazing Grace being her fifth. Kennedy loves working with the Servant Stage staff and cast; their love for the art is very inspiring! In her free time, Kennedy loves songwriting, playing the ukulele, and reading fantasy novels.
Reagan Urbanavage (Yema U/S, Ensemble) is from the Harrisburg area and lives with her parents and two younger siblings. She has been homeschooled her whole life, and loves it. She is excited to be starting her junior year! If pressed to choose, she would have to say that logic is her favorite subject. Reagan loves dance and has studied ballet since the age of six. She has more recently branched out into contemporary as well. Art is one of her favorite things to do and she enjoys sewing, painting, and knitting. Reagan is a fan of Servant Stage and has participated in two theatre camps (Honk! Jr. and Into the Woods Jr.) with them! In addition, she had a lot of fun being a Jolly Jingle in Old Time Gospel Radio Christmas. She is always excited for a chance to work with them again.
Sarah Vogelgesang (Ensemble) is a junior musical theatre major at Lancaster Bible College and is eager to perform in her first show with Servant Stage Company. Some of her theatre experience includes performing and interning with Touchstone Theatre (Annual Young Playwrights Festival – 7 years, Christmas City Follies – 3 years), stage managing and performing for PA Youth Theatre (2011-2017), and performing in LBC’s Sight and Sound’s Ruth (2020). In addition to her passion for the performing arts world, Sarah spends her time away from school pursuing her passion for culinary arts. She currently holds a position at Folino Estate Winery (Kutztown, PA) during her time away from school. Sarah thanks her loved ones for being her support and joy. To God be the glory! Psalm 94:19
Austin Weaver (Ensemble) is grateful to again play a part in bringing another amazing story to life on stage. Having grown up in Lancaster, he has been active in the local theater scene for a number of years, most recently playing the part of Judas in Passion: The Musical with Piercing Word and various supporting roles with Servant Stage in Titanic: The Musical, My Fair Lady, and The Music Man. As an artist, Austin values creativity, expression, and connecting with the audience. When not on stage, he works as a Marketing Manager and is pursuing a degree in business with LBC’s Adult Education Program. Austin is most passionate about the great outdoors. He has gone on several extended backpacking trips and is looking forward to more adventures exploring this amazing world.
Jeannette Wehye (Nanna), at 20 years of age, began a musical career traveling the United States and Canada as a soloist and inspirational/Gospel singer. She now also performs as one of 3 Artists with the Hip Hop/Soul Group T.H.E.M. The Collective. She is a versatile performer with a passion for touching lives through music. In the spring of 2018, she performed with the New York Contemporary Choir in Rocktopia on Broadway. Jeannette has performed in PRIMA Theater’s 7O’s Smash Hits, Motown Legends, and Lancarolers and She continues to grace the stage as a proud member of Reji Woods Productions. With her many years of experience as a singer, speaker, and Youth mentor, Jeannette is also passing it on through teaching voice and performance as an Arts Educator in her vocal Studio at Creative Pursuits Studio of Lancaster, Pa.
Ben Wenger (Mr. Quigley, Ensemble) was born in Brighton, Colorado, but he has lived in Lancaster County most of his life. In high school, he performed in several theater productions under the direction of Stanley Deen. He has studied theatrical arts through private tutoring and he has performed with other local drama groups in Lancaster County. Previous roles include Jesus in Piercing Word's production of Passion the Musical and Sermon on the Mount the Musical, and he made his Servant Stage debut as the Conductor in The Music Man. His interests also include music, videography, photography, and coffee roasting.
Emily Wick (Mary Catlett U/S, Ensemble) is excited to join the cast of Amazing Grace! She was last seen at Servant Stage in The Old-Time Gospel Radio Hour, Prodigal, and Joy to the World. Other credits include Tecumseh! Outdoor Drama (Martha Kenton) and The Home Game (Ruth) at Bird-in-Hand Stage. Emily has also toured with Missoula Children's Theatre and Musical Mysteries & More. Wally Calderon (Director) - Originally from Green Bay, WI, Wally Calderon earned his BFA in Music Theatre Performance and Direction from Ohio Northern University. For over 15 years, Wally traveled the country as a freelance performer, director, and choreographer. Notable stays include the Miracle Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN, The Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH, Hershey Park, and the highly credited Stagedoor Manor in upstate New York. Wally moved to Lancaster in 2012 where he spent five amazing years holding multiple positions at Sight & Sound Theatres. He considers it an honor and a blessing to be in his fifth year as Artistic Director of Servant Stage Company, and to be a part of a community that is so supportive of the arts in Lancaster. “Special thanks to my wonderful wife Andrea and my two sweetest daughters, Joyanna and Juliet. Reji Woods (Assistant Director) is thrilled to work again with Servant Stage Company on this production of Amazing Grace. He has performed throughout the United States as well as in Paris, Amsterdam, and India! Reji is the co-founder/owner Bending Threads Cabaret Company based in New York, NY, and the founder of Reji Woods Productions based in Lancaster, PA. Broadway: Rocktopia. Melissa Edwards (Stage Manager) is thrilled to finally have the opportunity to work with Servant Stage. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Theatre from the University of Central Arkansas, Melissa worked behind the scenes in theatres in Kentucky, Nebraska, Virginia, New Jersey, and Connecticut before landing in Pennsylvania. She was the Associate Lighting Designer at Sight & Sound Theatres for 10 years, where she met her husband and biggest supporter, Curt. Since then Melissa has kept her hands in the theatre, working with Franklin & Marshall College and with Reverie, while maintaining her "real job" working for The Hershey Company.
Sydney Norgaard (Assistant Stage Manager), age 17, is excited to share this amazing story and get her feet wet as an Assistant Stage Manager! Sydney was most recently seen in Servant Stage’s Aladdin Jr., Don’t Rock the Jukebox, Frozen Jr., Music Man, Once on this Island Jr., Jump Jive and Jukebox, A Christmas Carol, Old Time Gospel Radio Hour, and Sherlock Holmes. Recent credits include American Music Theater’s Songs of the Silver Screen and the 2011-2017 Christmas Shows. Sydney recently performed in the Fulton’s productions of Annie Get Your Gun, Wizard of Oz, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as well as Moses and Jonah at Sight and Sound Theaters. Sydney has performed with Prima Theatre, Creative Works Lancaster, Ephrata Performing Arts Center, Piercing Word, and Lancaster Bible College as well. Joe Sharick (Music Director), originally from Western Pennsylvania, received his BMUS in Piano Performance from Lancaster Bible College (prof. Kendra Bigley-BMUS, Eastman School of Music), and completed his MMUS in Piano Pedagogy (prof. Patricia Powell-D.M.A., Catholic University of America) from West Chester University in May of 2019. A professional accompanist and performer for over 9 years, he has worked collaboratively with a variety of vocal, instrumental, and theatrical organizations in Lancaster and the West Chester area, including Prima Theater, Servant Stage, Dutch Apple, and Opera Lancaster. Joe loves performing everything from classical solo repertoire to modern musical theater, as well as arranging and composing for independent game developers.
Glen Brodersen (Set Designer, Technical Director) has been serving the theatre community for almost 30 years. He has had the privilege of using his diverse production talents at numerous churches and theatres across the US and in Europe. Currently, he serves as the Technical Director at Sight & Sound Theatres where over the past 16 years he has had the opportunity to support the company in a number of different production related roles. Glen has enjoyed designing and building sets for Servant Stage for many years. His most recent collaboration was Daddy Long Legs and he is now excited to be working with the Servant Stage team on Amazing Grace.
JT Schaeffer (Props Master) is excited to partner with Servant Stage as their Props and Decor Craftsperson this time around. He worked for Sight & Sound in their scene shop as a Props/Decor Craftsperson building QUEEN ESTHER and is currently working as a Deck Technician. He would like to thank his family for fostering and joining him in his love for the performing arts and prop making.
Sarah Kendrick (Costume Coordinator), originally from the Washington, DC metro area, now lives in York, PA. She earned her BA in Visual Arts from UMBC. She was a member of the Army National Guard and worked for the Department of Defense before pursuing her MFA in Costume Design at UC Davis. Sarah has worked on costumes for theater and film. Sarah is passionate about theater for youth and spent seven years teaching technical theater at a private high school near Baltimore before leaving to be at home with her kids. Sarah now works as a freelance costumer, and sewist. She is thrilled to be back to doing theatre, and excited to work with Servant Stage again after costuming Don't Rock The Jukebox, and two summer camp shows. Sarah lives with her husband, three kids, three dogs, a cat, a fabulous mother-in-law, and a partridge in a pear tree.
Johnathan R. Shuey (Sound Design/Operator) - This is Johnathan’s third production with Servant Stage. For the past 9 years, he has been the Sound Designer for Gretna Theatre. Johnathan brings a wide range of experience from his involvement in over 170 productions across Central PA since 1988. He is currently a Contemporary Worship Leader at Zion UMC in Myerstown, PA. Johnathan is one of the members of the music duo, “The Shueys.” The husband and wife music duo was formed in 2001 when he married the love of his life, Laura. Together, they sing for weddings, civic events, private parties, retirement communities, and worship events. Johnathan would like to thank his wife, Laura Shuey, and their son, Jack, for all of their love and support. Thank YOU for supporting live theater!
Tim Moser (Lighting Designer) has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre from Indiana University of PA. He is currently the Production Designer of stage sets and lighting design for all 21 campuses of Lives Changed By Christ Church (LCBC) where he has been on staff for 17 years. Before that, Tim was a lighting and stage technician and Master Electrician at Sight & Sound Theatres for 10 years. He is the resident lighting designer for PRiMA Arts, a boutique theatre in Lancaster that creates a variety of theatrical experiences and has a year-round season. Tim also serves the community by designing and programming lighting for a variety of churches, schools, businesses, and theatres. Previously for Servant Stage, he was the lighting designer for Titanic: The Musical. Tim lives in Manheim with his stage manager wife Katie and their 3 sons. Tim and Katie met as college students working at the Ephrata Performing Arts Center and they both have been working in Lancaster Theatre ever since.
