Class Description
Interested in laughing while also learning about theatre? In Sarah's improvisation focused acting class, students will learn simple and fun tactics and techniques to help them to stay on their toes during their performances, get out of their heads, and trust their instincts. With over five years of improv experience and a “show must go on” mentality, Sarah is ready to help you prepare for anything the stage will throw your way!

meet Sarah
Sarah Mitchell is an actor well-versed in the ways of improv and an accomplished educator in the arts originally from New York. Sarah is a graduate of Oral Roberts University with a Music Education degree and the Sight & Sound Conservatory. Her past roles include: Mary (ADVENT OF CHRISTMAS), Anna Maria (GODSPELL), Emily Webb (OUR TOWN), Wisdom (STEWARDSHIP), and Amy March (LITTLE WOMEN). Most recently she directed Snoopy Sings! at Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts and assistant directed Singin’ in the Rain Jr with Servant Stage. When she isn’t teaching or at her day job, she’s most often found singing, writing, reading, rollerskating, or picking up another brand new hobby!
