March 31 | ACTING with Erin Mary Lynch & Megan Lynn Schmidt
Class Description
Acting the Character - Not Your Average Jo
Jo March is the astonishing lead of Little Women, the musical adaptation of the novel by Louisa May Alcott, and our current mainstage production. She is a beloved firecracker who dreams of writing and holds her sisters dearly. What does it take to make such a beloved and vibrant character come to life? Let's let our very own Erin Mary and Megan Lynn - who will take the stage as Jo in alternating performances across Lancaster County this spring - take a crack at that question. Spend some time with these ladies as they talk you through their discoveries and use the material of the show to teach you how to dig into a character through some practical acting exercises!
