Megan Roland

Megan will be teaching a jazz class filled with high energy and fun music. The class will work on turn technique and turn combinations across the floor. Come ready to move and jump. Enjoy learning a jazz combination with a Latin flair.

Monday, September 26
6:00-7:00pm - Dance drop in - Ages 16+
7:15-8:15pm - Dance drop in - Ages 10-18*

*Students as young as 8 years old with some prior dance experience are welcome to attend. Some material may be too advanced for beginners younger than 10.

 

Classes held at
Lancaster County Christian School,
2390 New Holland Pike, Lancaster.

Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is encouraged!

About Megan

Megan Roland has been dancing and teaching in the Philadelphia and Lancaster areas for over 25 years. She danced in the Philadelphia area performing locally and in regional and national competitions under Joanna Gargano. She studied with masters, Norma Frumento of Philadanco, Philip Carmen and Marion Toner of the Ballet Center and New York masters Frank Hatchett and Joe Lanteri. She relocated to Lancaster and taught at Lancaster School of Ballet and Premiere Danse Academy. She has been a guest teacher throughout the area. Megan was an original member of Grant Street Dance Company. She teaches Ballet, Jazz and Modern, specializing in Horton technique. Megan is also a Pediatric Physical Therapist at The Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development. Because of her specialization in anatomy and kinesiology, Megan brings a unique perspective to her teaching. She encourages proper technique blending it with the individual's body alignment to prevent injury. She focuses her classes on education and fun.
