Melissa Edwards

Melissa Edwards (Stage Manager) is grateful to be revisiting You Can't Take It With You, having previously stage managed the show for the Sight & Sound Conservatory. It has been a true joy to spend time with these characters again, laughing our way through rehearsals. She prays that your time with the Sycamore family brings you joy and reminds you of what really matters.

After earning her Bachelor's degree in Theatre from the University of Central Arkansas, Melissa worked behind the scenes at theatres in Kentucky, Nebraska, Virginia, New Jersey, and Connecticut before landing in Pennsylvania. She was the Associate Lighting Designer at Sight & Sound Theatres for 10 years, where she met her husband and biggest supporter, Curt. Since then, Melissa has worked with Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster Bible College, Reverie, Sight & Sound Conservatory, Dutch Wonderland, the Barn in Strasburg, Prima Theatre and Servant Stage, focusing on both lighting design and stage management. She is passionate about supporting shows behind the scenes and mentoring students on the technical side of theatre so they too might discover a new passion.
